Resignificamar

Born in Buenos Aires, Daniel Quaranta has lived in Brazil since 1995. He holds a doctorate in Musicology and is a professor at Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora. His composition Resignificamar, about rising sea levels, combines the sounds of different waves from the Pacific Ocean (México, Chile) and Atlantic ocean (Brasil and Argentina), together with the noise of flotsam and jetsam from various beaches.
